Congratulations to the 2025 Amherst Regional High School graduates. The ceremony is June 6. You have now entered the history books.

The annual Pufferโ€™s Pond Pancake Breakfast is Sat., June 7 from 8:30 – 11 a.m. at the Mill River Recreation Area. There is usually music and merchandise for sale to benefit the upkeep of the area. Tickets are sold at a table, there is no door.

More food: The Mobile Market begins its season Wed., June 11 from 3-6 p.m. in North Amherst; Thursday, June 12 at Colonial Village from 3-6 p.m. ;and Sat. June 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at East Hadley Road. The markets are open to everyone not just at the complex they are held. They offer fruits and vegetable from local farmers. The bonus is the markets build community among residents.

Donna Zimmerman of Leverett sent me an email about the final gathering of the townโ€™s 250th anniversary year. It will be held Sat., June 7 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Leverett Library. On view will be the time capsule, anniversary quilt and story scroll. Refreshment will be served. Itโ€™s free. I wrote something on the scroll when they held the opening event. How quickly the year went.

The Silverthorne Theater Company begins its summer season with a production of โ€œThe Amateurs,โ€ a comedy about a medieval acting group. Performances are at Hampshire College: June 13,14,19,20,21 at 7:30 p.m. and June 14,15,22 at 2 p.m. Tickets: STCamateureventbrite.org.
