AMHERST — Several items were reportedly stolen from unattended backpacks in the University of Massachusetts Amherst Fine Arts Center around 12:30 p.m. Friday, according to UMass Police.
After a review of video surveillance, UMass Police plan to question two people about the thefts. The two people are also suspects in a separate crime in which a debit card was stolen from a motor vehicle in Amherst.
UMass Police and Amherst Police are investigating and ask anyone with information about the people in the photographs to call 413-545-2121.
