One of the scriptures tells us, “The rain falls on the just and the unjust.” Hmm… I’ve taken a good look: Nowhere are we told that, besides their own rain water, the unjust are entitled to the rain water of the just.
Well, I guess that there is the ongoing and now increasing exception of the water that eastern Massachusetts — under the guise of the “authority” of the MWRA (Massachusetts Water Resource Authority) — assumes its entitlement; in the form of the waters of western Massachusetts in the Quabbin Reservoir. Even in this extended time of relative drought in the metropolitan Boston area, where little water conservation seems to be happening, this water lust continues. Justice?
