
HOLYOKE — Tapestry Health will hold its 2025 gala, “An Evening Under the Stars,” on Friday, April 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Log Cabin in Holyoke.
The evening will bring together community leaders, supporters and advocates to celebrate and raise funds for Tapestry Health’s lifesaving health care services. Guests will enjoy a night of dining, entertainment, and a silent auction, all in support of Tapestry Health’s mission to provide accessible sexual and reproductive health care, harm reduction services, and WIC nutrition programs to residents across all four counties of western Massachusetts.

GRANBY — The Granby Public Library, at 297 East State St., is hosting a night of ghost talk and evidence with local psychic medium and ghost hunter Lisa Lanno on Thursday, March 27, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Lanno will lead an interactive event with real evidence including audio, video and photo, as well as answering questions about who and what ghosts are, if they are bad/harmful, and what they can or can’t do.

AMHERST — The League of Women Voters of Amherst invites the community to its annual luncheon on March 22 at Ginger Garden in Amherst. The annual event invites LWVA members and guests to discuss LWVA priorities for the coming year, and engage with a guest speaker.
This year’s guest speaker is Jamie D. Hoag, senior counselor to Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell. The public is invited to attend and learn about the AG’s strategies to protect democracy and fight back against authoritarianism.

BELCHERTOWN — The New England Small Farm Institute is hosting a workshop, “Providing for Pollinators: Cover Cropping & Other Supplemental Habitat, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, March 22, at 275 Jackson St. in Belchertown.
Presenter Jules Davis, a postdoctoral researcher at UMass Amherst, will discuss how pollinator conservation can happen at many scales. In this workshop, attendees will learn how to create habitat for a diversity of pollinator species on farms and gardens, using an understanding of wild bee biology. Discussion will focus on ongoing research on the role of cover cropping practices in supporting solitary bees in agricultural ecosystems.

NORTHAMPTON — Tiny Glass Tavern will present a Celtic band concert and country dance event on Saturday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m., at Edwards Church, 297 Main St.
The event will feature The Chivalrous Crickets, a Celtic/early music band, on tour with their program “The Rose & Briar”: a storytelling concert of the Ballad of Barbara Allen. Featuring an entrancing combination of traditional Celtic, English Baroque and Olde Time music, the concert is woven through with narration telling the story of history’s most beloved child ballad.
Tiny Glass Tavern, a cross-genre ensemble based in Massachusetts, is led by vocalist Sophie Michaux and features a rotating constellation of performers, presenting a broad selection of music that spans genres and languages.
Prior to the show attendees have the option to attend a folk singing and dancing workshop by the Chivalrous Crickets from 5-6:30 p.m. Participants will learn one a call and response number from an ancient Gaelic tradition, and have the chance to join a few English country and square dances with the band, called by Fiona.
