Matt Holloway: Amherst Cultural Council accepting applications

The Massachusetts Cultural Council calls their Local Cultural Council Program “the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation. Led by municipally appointed volunteers, LCCs award over $4 million every year, supporting 6,000 cultural programs that include everything from field trips to lectures, festivals, and dance performances.”

The Amherst Cultural Council will be accepting grant applications from Sept. 1 through Oct. 17. There will be public information sessions held on Sept. 2 at noon and Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
