At least we are somewhat ashamed of what our soldiers do because we euphemistically call it “service,” but what else is it but murder when we are not acting in self defense? Of course it’s the most patriotic thing one can do, which is why so few dare to object. It’s “my country right or wrong.” Despite massive denial, patriotism is obviously a license to kill.
