A couple of weeks ago, a commentary I wrote about the proposed rezoning in Amherst, “Council needs to be more upfront with its zoning goals.” was printed in the Amherst Bulletin.
In the commentary, I took the Town Council to task for sending to the town manager what I believe to be short-sighted and poorly studied priorities. I failed to note that three councilors, Darcy DuMont, Cathay Schoen and Dorothy Pam, wisely voted against approving those rezoning priorities.
