The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, closed since late December, reopens March 11 with a number of new exhibits on display.
The museum had closed last March before reopening in August with various safety protocols in place. But an uptick in COVID-19 cases in the state late last year led to a second closure as a precautionary move, museum officials said.
Safety protocols such as mandatory mask wearing remain in place, and visitors are strongly encouraged to reserve tickets in advance. Visiting hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
