AMHERST — Applications are being accepted for a second round of grants to renters facing a loss of income during the pandemic.
The town’s COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Grant Program, established by the Amherst Municipal Affordable Housing Trust Fund, is taking applications from eligible households, including income-qualifying renters living in town and who have a documented drop in wages due to the pandemic. The grants are available for up to three months.
To fill out a pre-application, go to Community Action Pioneer Valley’s website at www.communityaction.us/amherstrentalassistance.
Those with questions, or who need a paper application, should call 413-475-1570.
