We would like to thank the Amherst Regional High School faculty, staff and administration, as well as the entire Amherst and regional communities.
We are so grateful for all the love and attention you have shown our Class of 2020 students. The school community went above and beyond to help our seniors feel loved and celebrated in so many ways, including lawn signs (that say “We love you and are cheering you on!”) delivered by teachers and staff honking their horns, and a meaningful and well-organized event on May 28 with a full stage and music. The entire community has also shown so much love: a banner across East Pleasant street, signs on the street lamps in the center of town, and the agreement to allow the school to put photo lawn signs of each graduating senior on the Town Common.
Amherst Fire and Police have helped plan the class car parade coming up on June 5th and with support of the BID and Chamber, downtown businesses are ready to cheer on the grads that afternoon. We could not be more grateful. This is a difficult moment for everyone. Thank you for going above and beyond to make it full of joy and love for this group of graduates.
Families of the Class of 2020.
