WHY NOTRE DAME?: “I’m more of a college football guy. My father was a big fan of the Irish when I was a kid, so it was more of a family thing.”
FAVORITE ATHLETE: “For baseball, it’s Yadier Molina. In terms of football players, I love Baker Mayfield, Phillip Rivers and Manti Teo because he’s from Notre Dame.”
FAVORITE FOOD: “Steak or chicken wings. It’s tough to choose between the two.”
INSPIRATION: “My father (E.J.). He’s coached football at Amherst College for 20 now and I always play for him.”
WHY DO YOU LOVE FOOTBALL?: “The team aspect is really great. I love my teammates and it teaches you a lot of life lessons. Battling adversity is something I feel that football teaches you a lot about because you have to learn to just get back up when you’re knocked down.”
