I recently read how Californians will be asked to endure controlled power outages to reduce the risk of wildfires due to the electrical grid’s vulnerability. Transmission lines are a threat to both cause and accelerate wildfires.
This is another immediate price we are paying for climate denial by not paying for renewable, distributed energy and local microgrids.
