11:54 p.m. – A Cottage Street resident called police after observing three men rocking his vehicle back and forth. The men were friends who were playing a prank on him, police determined.

1:14 p.m. – Police kept the peace between two men throwing punches at each other at the intersection of North Pleasant Street and Kellogg Avenue. One of the men explained to police that the other man had harassed his wife a week earlier.

11:03 p.m. – Main Street residents holding a loud outdoor party were issued a verbal warning by police. Officers responded again at 11:42 p.m., then got a third complaint 24 minutes later and went to the home a final time more than two hours after the initial complaint, issuing a final warning.

12:37 p.m. – A minor crash involving an Amherst Fire Department ambulance occurred on Commonwealth Avenue on the UMass campus, police said.
5:50 p.m. – A vehicle parked in a University Drive restaurant’s parking lot sustained minor damage when it was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle, police said.

1:51 a.m. – A man reported being jumped by several other men on South Prospect Street after he made inappropriate comments toward women sitting on a porch.
8:49 p.m. – Management at a University Drive restaurant called police after a man began throwing food, possibly in an attempt to irritate other patrons and get them involved in a food fight. He was sent on his way.
