3:14 p.m. – A man allegedly made threats about slitting the throat of a Colonial Village resident during an argument over belongings. Police spoke to both people involved in the altercation.
CITIZEN ASSISTANCE
11:53 p.m. – Police assisted an Amherst resident concerned that the scissors she uses for sewing could be used by an intruder to harm her. Police advised her to keep her doors locked and the scissors out of sight.
LARCENY
4:56 p.m. – A watch valued at $80 and a gold wedding band were reported stolen from a Poets Corner home.
6:07 p.m. – A resident told police he sent money to get tickets to a Boston Bruins game later in March and never received them from the seller.
VANDALISM
8:36 a.m. – The hood on a vehicle was damaged when a pedestrian banged it with his fist while crossing Amity Street.
4:15 p.m. – A woman reported her parked vehicle sustained a dented hood while parked on East Pleasant Street. Police told her someone appeared to sit on the vehicle.

1:05 a.m. – Police took a report of loud music coming from a residence at Kendrick Place Apartments. The residents may be issued tickets for violating the town’s noise bylaw.

11:46 a.m. – A student at the Summit Academy allegedly damaged a bathroom at the school and then fled on foot on South East Street. He was located and calmed down, and staff agreed he could return.

3:28 p.m. – An empty backpack on the sidewalk outside a Main Street restaurant was recovered by police.

8:51 p.m. – Police are trying to locate the seller of a PlayStation 4 who delivered a bag of bricks, instead of the game console, when paid $200 by a Village Park resident after an online transaction.

9:04 a.m. – A resident at The Hollow told police a neighbor is allowing a dog to leave feces on the property.

ACCIDENTS
3:40 p.m. – One vehicle was towed following a two-car accident with no personal injuries at the intersection of East Pleasant and Pine streets, police said.
6:55 p.m. – A pedestrian walked into a vehicle on North Pleasant Street near Thatcher Way, though the extent of injuries was unknown. The driver contacted police after fleeing and said he was scared of retaliation by the pedestrian and the pedestrian’s friends.

11:38 p.m. – Portable stop signs were installed at the intersection of Meadow and North Pleasant streets when the signals went out after a vehicle knocked over a utility pole at the intersection of Roosevelet Street and Knightly Road in Hadley.

5:28 p.m. – A vehicle slid off a snow-covered Triangle Street into the fence near the high school baseball field, causing heavy damage to the vehicle’s bumper, police said.
8:10 p.m. – A driver lost control of his vehicle on University Drive and hit a tree, police said. The vehicle sustained heavy damage and the driver told police he suffered a shoulder injury, for which he would seek medical treatment on his own.

1:46 a.m. – A Colonial Village resident called police to report loud music coming from a nearby apartment and threats a neighbor made to her about making complaints.

12:05 a.m. – Police called for tows of 12 vehicles, and seven vehicles were issued citations, for violating a parking ban on town streets during a snowstorm.

1:37 p.m. – Police assisted a Hampshire Village resident concerned about renting a home to a person with mental health issues.

4:09 p.m. – Officers went to a Pine Street home for an argument between a resident and a man delivering phone books. Even though the resident didn’t want a phone book, one had been thrown onto his property.
5:09 p.m. – A man who tossed his bicycle in front of a bay at the Central Fire Station was advised to leave the area.
8:09 p.m. – Police responded to a loud argument between a man and woman at the Boltwood parking garage. They told police they were angry over charges for a hotel room.

12:43 a.m. – Three people loitering in the woods off Bridge Street told police they were just looking at the stars.

10:55 p.m. – A teenage girl who took off on foot from a vehicle on Main Street following an argument with her mother was located safely on Strong Street. At 11:27 p.m., police provided additional assistance to the mother when her daughter refused to get out of the vehicle when they got to their home.
