2:37 a.m. – A woman told police she was changing inside her North Amherst apartment when she noticed man looking at her through the window. The peeping Tom fled before police got there. At 4:24 p.m., another resident requested additional police patrols after she saw a man looking into windows of apartments in North Amherst.
9:16 p.m. – People in a vehicle at Mount Pollux Conservation Area after dark were warned the park closes at night and were sent on their way.
10:35 p.m. – A woman screaming for help in the area of Presidential Apartments was not located.

8:20 a.m. – A small amount of marijuana brought by a student to the middle school was confiscated and police disposed the drug.

6:56 p.m. – A leaf blower valued at $300 was reported stolen from contractors working at a South Amherst business.
8:04 p.m. – A resident alleged his personal care attendant stole her washer, dryer and television and brought them to Northampton. Police are investigating.

3:33 p.m. – An Apple TV console and money was stolen from a Puffton Village home. no signs of forced entry.

9:53 a.m. – A jogger reported being bitten and scratched on his right thigh by a dog that chased him on Pomeroy Lane. The animal welfare officer is looking into the matter.

3:13 p.m. – A police officer spoke to a teen boy at an Amherst home after he refused to go to school and is engaging in dangerous behavior.

12:47 p.m. – A heavily intoxicated man causing problems in the tunnel between Main Street and the Boltwood parking garage passed out and was brought by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
6:53 p.m. – People were yelling at each other outside an Amity Street location. the argument ended when one hopped on a bus.

5:03 p.m. – A downtown merchant reported the possible theft of merchandise. One of the suspects was located in West Cemetery, but the item allegedly stolen was not located.
5:04 p.m. – A resident came to the station to inform police his identity may have been stolen or compromised.

9:36 a.m. – A sliding glass door at a Salem Place residence was smashed, possibly in a break-in attempt.

1:14 p.m. and 2:24 p.m. – Police are investigating break-ins to residences at Southpoint Apartments. There was forced entry to both apartments. A gaming console, video games, television and cash were among the items stolen.

12:03 a.m. – Police issued a verbal warning to Phillips Street residents playing loud music and throwing beer cans off the roof during a 21st birthday celebration.

5:38 p.m. – Police took a report of a man getting into altercations with motorists passing through the roundabout at the corner of East Pleasant and Triangle streets.

12:24 a.m. – Two women were causing issues at a downtown bar after they attempted to take their alcoholic beverages outside the property. One struck a bouncer, who declined medical attention and asked officers to remove the patrons.
1:16 a.m. – A verbal altercation at a downtown bar ended when police got there.
1:35 a.m. – A boyfriend and girlfriend arguing in front of the downtown bars went their separate ways.
5:27 p.m. – Police kept the peace between two women arguing at Chestnut Court Apartments.

3:52 p.m. – A past larceny at Big Y Supermarket on University Drive was reported to police.
7:28 p.m. – Razors, shaving supplies and other items were reported stolen from a the CVs Pharmacy on University Drive. The male suspect was not located.

10:04 a.m. – A GPS device was reported stolen from the glove compartment of a vehicle parked on Pulpit Hill Road.
10:10 a.m. – A woman reported her former roommate broke into the downtown home. Police determined the roommate still had a key and used it to get a few items she left behind.

4:25 p.m. – A campfire in a fire pit off Beston Street was extinguished. The high schoolers who set the fire were warned and their parents were notified.

11:17 a.m. – A Buddha statue was reported stolen from a Lincoln Avenue yard sometime overnight. The resident requested additional police patrols for problems caused by foot traffic passing by the home.
12:27 p.m. – A person trying to steal a bottle of alcohol from a South Amherst store was issued a trespass notice.
2:26 p.m. – Police responded to a downtown package store after a customer using a fake ID attempted to take alcohol after the ID was confiscated. No alcohol was stolen.
6:26 p.m. – Teenage shoplifters who took items from a downtown store were located in front of the Jones Library. Their parents were contacted and they were issued trespass notices.

1:23 a.m. – A man allegedly fired a BB gun at people on McClure Street and caused a disturbance that led to the breaking of a window. The suspect was not identified.
10:13 p.m. – A delivery driver told police feces were put on the driver’s side handle and under the windshield wipers while the vehicle was parked on Fearing Street.

5:59 p.m. – A man was reported standing in the middle of the roundabout at the intersection of East Pleasant and Triangle streets holding a sign and yelling homphobic remarks at passing vehicles. He was calm when police got there.

2:42 p.m. – A Justice Drive resident reported cordwood was stolen while stacked from the home.

11:09 a.m. – Police issued a verbal warning to Chi Omega residents on Olympia Drive playing loud music during a benefit car wash.

12:35 a.m. – A speeding delivery driver on East Pleasant Street trying to make a delivery within 30 minutes, as guaranteed to the customer, was warned to slow down.
5:14 p.m. – Police issued tickets to several vehicles blocking State Street as Puffer’s Pond was crowded with beachgoers on a warm day. At 5:31 p.m, six people jumping from the cliff into the water were warned about their actions.
