A 47-year-old Windsor Locks, Connecticut man will be summoned to court on a charge of lewd and lascivious behavior after he was allegedly acting inappropriately in view of the public in a parking lot on University Drive June 10 at 9:23 a.m., police said.
Dominique M. Escobar, 22, of Chicopee, was arrested June 9 at 5:12 p.m. at the parking lot for Big Y Supermarket on University Drive on a charge or larceny over $250 after he allegedly fled with a mountain bike from Hampshire Bicycle Exchange on University Drive a short time earlier, police said.
Carl M. Duval, 28, who provided an address as the streets of Amherst, was arrested June 7 at 8:57 p.m. on North Pleasant Street on a warrant, police said.
A 58-year-old Amherst woman will be summoned to court on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration following a traffic stop on East Pleasant Street June 6 at 8:18 p.m., police said.
A 29-year-old Sunderland man and a 40-year-old Florence man are being summoned to court on charges of larceny over $250 for their role in an August 2013 incident in which electric toothbrushes valued at $570 were stolen from the CVS Pharmacy, 76 North Pleasant St., police said.

11:03 p.m. – Several car alarms sounded at The Boulders. Police found some vehicles unlocked and others entered in the parking lot at the East Hadley Road apartment complex, but nothing appeared to be stolen and no suspects were identified.

3:50 a.m. – A vehicle went off Northampton Road and struck the corner of a house, causing minor damage to the residence, police said. The driver declined medical attention, but the vehicle was towed, according to police.

4:37 p.m. – Police kept the peace at Pomeroy Lane Cooperative where residents were upset at a woman taking photographs of children playing basketball on the community court.
9:10 p.m. – An intoxicated woman yelling at her husband was reported at Village Park. Police determined there was no issues between the couple and they were not involved in an argument. At 9:31 p.m. and 11:12 p.m., the woman was again found continuing to be loud while walking back to an Olympia Oaks home. She and her husband were warned their behavior could lead to charges for disturbing the peace.

10:13 p.m. – A woman called police concerned that the driver of a taxi cab in North Amherst, who appeared to be Muslim and was speaking Arabic, wouldn’t take her credit card. Police determined the taxi’s credit card machine was malfunctioning.

3:20 a.m. – Police issued a verbal warning to Blackberry Lane residents holding a loud graduation party.
11:11 p.m. – A farmer using a loud machine to hay a field on Bay Road told police he would end his work for the night.
