Beth Goren of Amherst sent me an email about her trip to Sao Paolo, Brazil, where she co-taught a Body-Mind Centering training program. She had been in Brazil before but this time she wrote that she found it chilly. The solution take a hot shower, jump into bed and use a padded jacket to maintain body heat.
The seasons are reversed on the other side the Equator. Australia is having winter now.

There was a reception line that went out the door at Arthur Kinney’s recent retirement celebration.
He retired as an English professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and as the founder and director of the Renaissance Center.
It was a beautiful afternoon with a nice breeze so people could be outdoors and enjoy the vista of the Berkshire Hills.
