Some people think that we teens don’t need our own space in our new library, but we do. One reason is when you are at home and you have a younger sibling it is very hard to get work done, so this space would be very helpful for that. Another reason that we need this space is because there’s no other space for us to meet up and hang out.

Another thing is that it is within walking distance from the Amherst schools and makes a perfect space for clubs to meet up. Finally, teens would really appreciate a safe space with beanbags, computers, and other teens, especially when it is cold. It might even increase the amount of books teens check out and read!
