Anonymous letters are abhorrent. However, the hypocrisy of the Amherst Pelham Education Association in criticizing the “low tactics” of the correspondence disparaging Superintendent E. Xiomara Herman is truly stunning. Many of us remember that, in the middle of contract negotiations, the APEA called for a “no confidence” vote less than 24 hours after former Superintendent Michael Morris took a medical leave. The APEA is in no position to denounce the unseemly behavior of others.
