Please do not spend more money on a project that no longer has majority community support. At the very least suspend all spending on this project until another town wide referendum is held. If $2 million dollars had been spent on creative and affordable designs for renovations of the current library, certainly we would have a plan that would meet our needs and have widespread popular support. It makes me very sad that a building we all love has become so divisive. Please, let unity, community, inclusion guide us to better decision making and outcomes.
