I’d like to commend the Gazette journalists and staff for the outstanding Jan. 25 print edition, which continues to make me smile (and that is quite needed during these very challenging times).

From the front page article on the NHS senior Noah Daube-Valois, who has been providing lovely piano music to patients and staff at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in the behavioral unit, to the article on the award-winning photo taken by James Lowenthal of a mother possum with eight babies on her back walking, plus the article on the front of the sports section with a photo of the Bement School eighth grader Sebastian Garro who, at a UMass basketball game, achieved a remarkable feat — at the halftime entertainment, he made a successful putt across the court of 94 feet and earned a $10,000 prize — all these capture truly special, wonderful activities and moments.

Thank you and keep up the great work!
