Garden report: I have small green tomatoes but the tops of some of the plants are very limp after all the rain. I hope they recover. I also have small cucumbers.

Brooke Steinhauser, the daughter of Larry and Ann Steinhauser, of Bridle Path in Amherst, graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa., where she majored in art history and theatre. She was named to the dean's list and has the Katzenberger Art History Internship at the Smithsonian, in the education department at the National Portrait Gallery. She graduated from Amherst Regional High School.

Ninth-grader Christine Ha, of Amherst, and second-grader Jayden Wooley, of Hadley, were named to the Jonathan Edwards Academy Honor Roll. Christine earned magna cum laude and Jayden, cum laude.
Brett Long, the son of Laurie Long, of Woodlawn Road in Hadley, was named to the dean's list at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Conn.
Samuel Bromell, the son of Nicholas Bromell and Laura Doyle, of Mill Street in Amherst, was named to the dean's list at American University in Washington, D.C., where he is a senior majoring in political science in the School of Public Affairs.
