Calendar

* Shutesbury will hold a "Back to School" family pot luck Sept. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

* Mark's Meadow will hold a used children's book sale Sept. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Town Common to benefit the school library.

* ARHS will hold a ninth-grade family night Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.

* Mark's Meadow will hold a pot luck supper Sept. 11 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

* A coffee with the Leverett Principal Anne Ross and PTO will be held Sept. 12 at 8:30 a.m. in the cafeteria.

* ARHS will hold an Alumni Field dedication and a Homecoming dance Sept. 13.

Meetings

* The Amherst School Committee will meet Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. in the high school library.

* The Crocker Farm PGO will meet Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. Childcare will be provided.

Lunch menu

Monday: Chicken nuggets, celery sticks with low fat dip.

Tuesday: Egg patty with cheese, sausage on wheat bun, hash brown patty.

Wednesday: Whole wheat spaghetti, meatballs, celery sticks or green beans.

Thursday: Hamburger or cheeseburger, oven baked potatoes.

Friday: Whole wheat cheese pizza, celery sticks with low fat dip.

All meals include milk, fresh fruit or fruit cup.
