Elisa Campbell of Amherst sent me email photos of her recent trip. “I spent almost a week in Pennsylvania — a couple of days in State College (where I lived as a very small child and my grandmother and aunt and uncle lived there much longer) and then several days in Orbisonia, PA, riding and enjoying a narrow gauge steam railway there. I loved it! Fortunately, that was before the smoky air reached PA.”

The photos were of her grandmother’s house in State College, the house her family lived in way back then, and Elisa with locomotive #16 “Nick.”
